John L. Bobich
(December 27, 1945 - March 26, 2011)
John Bobich age 65, died Saturday, March 26, 2011 at his home in Redding, CA
following a long illness.
John was born to Louise and John M. Bobich in Cleveland, OH on December 27, 1945.
John graduated from University of Utah with a degree in Physical Therapy. He owned and operated a large private physical therapy practice in Las Vegas, NV for many years prior to moving to Shasta County in the late 1980's. Here he continued to care for patients doing home physical therapy.
John was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Chuck Davis, and his sister Carol Bobich.
He is survived by his spouse, Eileen, of Redding, stepdaughter Molly Hannigan of Los Angeles, CA, stepson Jeff Hannigan of Redding, CA, brother Dan (Sharon) Davis of Laguna Woods, CA, sister Joan Keller of Sherman Oaks, CA, brother Bill (Marsha) Bobich of Palo Cedro, CA, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.
John loved life and lived it to the fullest. He loved his wife, his family and his friends.
Physical therapy was his passion and his gift. He enjoyed football, boxing, fishing Shasta Lake, bike riding, walking his dogs on the river trail, old movies, John Wayne, singing Frank Sinatra songs, and ""bungee walking"".
His family wishes to thank Dr. Mantri for all the years of kind and professional care he gave to John.
Thanks to Mercy Hospice staff for their wonderful, compassionate care in John's final days, and the heartfelt support they've given to the family. Special love and gratitude to Randy J, Margaret, Beth, Sharon, Chris, Ray and Dr. Ron Sand.
